July 20, 2003 Shenadoah Valley Natural Chimneys

The Natural Chimneys are located about 9 miles south of Bridgewater, VA, off of route 727. This is a highlight of the Shenadoah Valley Cruise on page 133 of Road Biking Virginia by Jim Homerosky.
Natural Chimneys consist of limestone and tower to 120 feet, evidence that the Shenadoah Valley was once an inland sea.
