Day 19, June 18: Lincoln to Augusta 56.5 miles w/ Temps in the 60s to 80s

The morning started with an unexpected easy climb to Rogers Pass where we crossed the Continental Divide. Just when we thought downhills would await us, several steep rolling hills welcomed us to the eastern side of the continental divide. Some road construction was met on route 200 which tested our tires as the gravel surface replaced a paved surface. No flats encountered by all. We all arrive safely at a small western town named Augusta. The digs for the night was the Bunkhouse. Friendly folks were anxious to say hello, welcome us, and express awe that we were on such a trek. Augusta is a model western town with a population of 284.
