April 2, 2006, Washington DC Cherry Blossom Time

One of our favorite day rides is the Mt. Vernon trail and the Cherry Blossoms of early April make it all more enjoyable.

October 3, 2005 Blue Ridge Parkway

Starting at the Peaks of Otter, we climbed about 7 miles north to the summit and highest elevation of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virgina.

Having reached the summit, we continued north to this scenic overview looking west.
